As part of the Assembly’s Mandate to support People Living with disability (PWDs) from the 3% share of the District Assembly Common Fund allocated for PWDs, the Metropolitan Chief Executive on behalf of the Assembly have in 2020 supported a total of 78 beneficiaries in the areas of Education, Petty Trading, Assistive devices and equipment, Medicals and Training/ apprenticeship. Out of a total of 78 beneficiaries, 41 were females whilst 29 were males
