The first to call on the Mayor of Tamale in his office this morning was the spiritual leader and head of the Masjidul Bayan, Sheikh. Ibrahim Basha, affectionately called Sheihu Bayan.
The visit was a follow up on a formal invitation to the assembly of an upcoming 2-day religious conference of renowned Islamic Clerics and indeed members of the halil-sunnah waljemmah, which event begins today, 6th December, 2021.
Sheihu Bayan used today’s visit to solicit the assembly’s support for the organization of the upcoming event and to pray for God’s abundant grace in the conduct of the business of the Tamale Metropolitan Assembly under the able leadership of Hon. Sule Salifu – Mayor of Tamale.
Subsequent to that, two (2) other Delegations from GNPC and management of Ghana Senior High school, GHANASCO took turns to meet him.
