In his closing remarks, the MCD, Mr Jimah Yakubu expressed dissatisfaction over the increasing phenomenon of staff absenteesm and related issues about punctuality without recourse to ethical protocols. Mr Jimah issued stern warning against such behaviours
Meanwhile the MCD applauded the hardworking officers but was quick to add that officers engaged in such unacceptable conduct of lateness and absenteesm etc.must take steps
to redeem themselves and develop the right attitude for positive outcomes.
Touching on the routine monthly cleanup exercise under the national sanitation day initiative, the MCD implored heads of department and units to encourage their respective staff to develop the right attitude for it as a matter of civic responsibility and therefore participate in the exercise for the ensuing month.
