TaMA Commissions a 6-unit Classroom Block at Datoyili

At a colorful ceremony held at Datoyili, a suburb of Tamale, a state-of-the-art 6-unit classroom block with ancillary facilities has been commissioned for use by the school community.

The project, cost of which wasn’t disclosed has been funded by the Ghana gas company to improve classroom accommodation in the school.

Receiving the keys for and behalf of the assembly, the mayor Hon. Iddrisu Musah Superior, commended the contractor not only for the quality but also completing the work in record time of 5 months, being 2 months ahead of schedule.

He subsequently handed the keys to the GES for onward transmission to assemblyman and eventually to the school management through the chief of the beneficiary community.

Meanwhile the Hon Mayor was due to address the Chiefs and people of Manguli kukuo, during which he is expected to commission similar facility with same architectural design works.
He was in the company of the MCD, Mr. Gilbert B Nuuri-Teg and other senior officers including but not limited to the Deputy Director, Hajia Rumaisha Abubakari, Engineer James Nunoo as well as planning officer, Mr. Ibrahim Mustapha.

At Manguli kukuo, the story was not different at all. It was really a well attended function. In the eyes of the community members, the Hon. Assembly man for the electoral area and indeed the rest of the opinion leaders, it became so obvious that the project, in all sincerity, was a dream come through. It was truly a joyous moment for the community.

A special prayer was offered by the proprietor to invoke His divine favor in honor of the mayor and management of the assembly for their individual and collective sacrifices in the actualization of what became a prayer being answered
