At a colorful ceremony held at the premises of the zosimli girls JHS at Lamashegu in the Tamale Metropolis, the MCD Mr Gilbert B Nuuri-Teg underscored the important role e-learning models have played and continues to play in this digital age. The beautiful edifice under inauguration today, valued tens of thousand Ghana cedis, has been proudly funded by the World Vision Ghana, a development partner in the metropolis.
It is worth noting that even though the facility is sited at the Lamashegu cluster of schools, it is targeting all schools in the catchment area particularly after instruction hours.
Also at the event were some poetry recitals beautifully performed by pupils of the beneficiary schools, Iddrisu Rasha and Abdul-rahaman Asmaw

The MCD subsequently made a token donation of souvenirs to the leader of the world vision group in appreciation of the state- of – the – art facility, which facility, he intimated, will help make up for the obvious learning deficits faced by the seemingly disadvantaged pupils in the catchment.
