You would recall that the Mayor of Tamale, Hon. Sule Salifu hinted his planned familiarization tour of key financial institutions operating in the capital, Tamale.
He is today engaged in a closed door meeting with management of the Absa Bank. Key issues discussed bordered on establishing and in some cases strengthening partnerships with sector players to accelerate development of the Metropolis
He also assured the banks of the assembly’s continues effort to deepen the investor friendly market space to do business. Mayor Sule is expected to visit Stanbic Bank, access Bank and Bank of Ghana among other target institutions.
Meanwhile 6 Banks have so far been visited under the familiarization tour
At Stanbic, the manager was happy for the visit and to host the Mayor and his entourage.
Responding to the request for corporate social responsibilities, the Bank was happy to recount financing initiatives and proposals of the assembly including awards, decongestions exercises and others
They indicated their readiness to support any life-changing initiatives driven by the Tamale Metropolitan Assembly.
