The Mayor of Tamale, Hon. Sule Salifu, today, continued his tour of corporate institutions in Tamale, an outreach program he rolled out since the last several weeks. Today’s visit targeted 3 of the telecom giants operating in Tamale namely; mtn, Vodafone and tigo-airtel.
At separate platforms each of the various managements commended the Mayor for his physical presence on their premises, describing it as not only historic but also a mark of a good leader.
They expressed their desire to support the development initiatives of the Assembly, especially in 3 thematic areas of education, health and economic empowerment activities in line with their corporate social responsibilities.
The Mayor was grateful to the Telecom industry players for contributing hugely over the years towards the realization of government’s development goals.
He called for a lot more purposeful harmonious relationship that has existed and continue to exist between the Assembly and the telecom companies. This, he noted, will ultimately inure to our mutual benefits.
Upon assumption of office, Hon. Sule Salifu has embarked on a familiarization tour of the metropolis during which he has been engaging key partners in the Assembly’s development drive.
