Mayor of Tamale, Mr. Sule Salifu, today, continued his tour of corporate institutions in Tamale, an outreach program he has been rolling out since the last several weeks. He targeted 3 of the telecom giants operating in Tamale namely; MTN, Vodafone and AirtelTigo.
At separate platforms each of the various managements commended the Mayor for his physical presence at their premises, describing it as not only historic but also a mark of a good leadership.
They expressed their desire to support the development initiatives of the Assembly, especially in 3 thematic areas of education, health and economic empowerment activities in line with their corporate social responsibilities.
The Mayor was grateful to the Telecom industry players for contributing hugely over the years towards the realization of the government’s development goals.
He called for a much more purposeful harmonious relationship that has existed and continues to exist between the Assembly and the telecom companies. This, he noted, will ultimately insure to our mutual benefits.
Upon assumption of office, Mr. Sule Salifu embarked on a familiarization tour of the metropolis during which he engaged key partners in the Assembly’s development drive.
