The Metro Assembly Environmental Health Unit in collaboration with Catholic Relief Services (CRS) has been implementing the Urban WASH and Resilience Project. In recent weeks, the project supported environmental health and waste management Department to engage the public through radio discussions and TV talk shows on topics on environmental health and sanitation.
Among the topics discussed were iCesspool Tamale APP (Tamale call center), Waste Management, WASH and economic development. It is aimed at sensitizing the public and provide answers to the questions of listeners and viewers through a call in session.
