The Mayor of Tamale, Hon. Sule Salifu, in the company of some officials of the Tamale Metropolitan Assembly paid a working visit to Zogbeli, a suburb of Tamale to inspect an on-going street lightening project. He was expressed satisfaction at the progress of work done so far.
Briefing the media after the inspection, Mayor Sule explained that the latest project forms part of ongoing efforts of the Tamale Metropolitan Assembly to brighten the streets of Tamale.
This comes at the back of reported but isolated cases of robbery and other nefarious activities taking place in some of the darkest streets in the greater Tamale area in recent times.
Hon. Sule expressed optimism that in the shortest time possible the city of Tamale will look bright to the admiration of all.
