The Tamale Metropolitan Assembly in conjuction with Catholic Relieve services and Caritas Ghana to lunch a plastic buy back centre in Salamba and Sakasaka communitiesas part of the implementatiom of citywide inclusive sanitation plan.

The initiative was intended to rid the community of plastic waste while creating a livelihood support by selling the plastics waste at the buy back centre.
