Today, the Mayor of Tamale, Hon.Alhaji Abu Takoro, paid a working visit to inspect the privately funded construction of an abattoir at Bilpiela. This initiative is a significant step towards modernizing our livestock and meat processing infrastructure and ensuring a more humane and efficient meat production process.
Hon.Abu Takoro commended the investor for his commitment to improving the metropolis’ facilities and services.
The mayor used the platform to appeal to other benevolent individuals and corporate institutions to join the assembly’s commitment to promoting efficient and hygienic meat supply chain for the people of the metropolis.
