The Mayor of Tamale, Hon. Sule Salifu yesterday, COMMISSIONED an ultramodern New Born Care Unit at the West Hospital in Tamale. The state-of-the-art facility was funded by the Assembly’s development partner, UNICEF. The project is expected to augment the bed capacity of the beneficiary hospital and consequently help improve health care delivery services for the increasing cases of neonatal conditions. The ceremony was attended by revered Chiefs and opinion leaders including Gukpe naa and Choggu naa. Other guests included officials of the funding organization as well as Directors of the Ghana Health Services.
