Management of the Tamale Metropolitan Assembly has in recent times institutionalised routine Monday Management Meetings as part of initiatives rolled out to track issues affecting quality service delivery and to deepen collaboration between and among key decentralised departments and units.
Today’s meeting, the second in the series sought to review issues captured and reported in previous minutes and actions taken on them.
Opening the session on behalf of the mayor who’s currently out of town on official assignment, the Metropolitan Coordinating Director, Alhaji Mohammed Rufai highlighted the need to show commitment to this initiative and to sustain the effort. Alhaji Rufai explained that 9’oclock on Mondays is slated for the meetings. Members are therefore encouraged to honour it and to participate actively and dispassionately.
