The mayor of Tamale,Hon. Alhaji Abu Takoro has visited some selected schools, including Zogbeli Primary School and Lamashegu M/A Primary School ‘B’, to mark the start of the new school calendar,dubbed: ‘my first day at school’
Hon Abu Takoro was in the company of the Metropolitan Director of Education to welcome the newly admitted pupils. Addressing the pupils on this occasion, the mayor admonished them to prioritize their education and encouraged teachers to be professional in handling the children under their care.
It was heartwarming to see the pupils’ excitement and enthusiasm as they began this new chapter in their educational journey.
