Impact of the “Night Sanitation” Initiative in the Central Business District of Tamale.
The recently launched “night sanitation” initiative in the Central Business District (CBD) of Tamale continues to make widespread waves in keeping the catchment area clean.
The program, dubbed “Tamale Sanitation Task Force: Action for a Cleaner City,” is the brain-child of the Hon.Abu Takoro-led administration of the Tamale Metropolitan Assembly (TaMA), aimed at improving urban cleanliness and night-time marketing without disrupting daytime commercial activities.
This intervention has since started impacting ongoing efforts at creating the enabling environment for a smooth implementation of the famous government’s 24-hour economy policy decision and practice.
With sustained efforts, commitment and dedication to duty, the initiative will ultimately make the metropolis a lot more attractive for business activities.
